It’s about freedom, access, and justice for students, for workers, for families, and for seniors across Chicago, Evanston, Skokie, Niles, and beyond. As a daily rider, I know the frustration of delays, the stress of missed connections, and the reality of transit systems that don’t reach every community. Let’s build a system that does.

- Free transfers across CTA, Metra, and Pace - Discounted or free passes for low-income riders, seniors, and students - A pathway to universal free transit, starting with youth

- Sidewalks, lighting, shelters, and bike access near every stop - Safer, ADA-compliant stations across the district - Infrastructure investments that make walking or rolling to transit safe and easy

- End single-family-only zoning near transit stops - Require inclusive zoning and support mixed-income, multi-family housing - Keep people in their communities not priced out of them

- Support microtransit and local shuttles in towns like Niles and Golf - Expand successful models like the Niles Free Bus - Help seniors, essential workers, and car-free residents get where they need to go

- Free or reduced-cost student transit passes - Evening/weekend access for after-school programs and jobs - Equal opportunity for students and working-class families

- Electric bus fleets and EV charging at park-and-rides - Climate resilience upgrades to prevent flooding and service disruptions - Federal clean transit dollars for every corner of the 9th not just downtown

- Support strong unions and fair contracts - Public investment, not privatization - Safe staffing levels and working conditions
